Back at it!

Ok, I'm a slacker.
My last post is from December 2011!
Oppsie!

Lots, and I mean lots of fun things have happened since then and I'm mad I haven't written them down.

So, here's a quick run down of  some highlights.

Wyatt get off training wheels shortly after his 4th birthday and started riding a KTM 50SX JR this past summer. When he turned 5! Yes, my baby is growing up!

We had some serious snow this winter and he just had to take a ride...

In farm news, I got 2, 3 week old bottle calves in the fall of 2012.
Meet Chip(Jersey) & Dale (Holstein)

They're so cute and cuddley when they're little

Bottle raising them turned them into huge puppies, which is fun. I had them castrated and that was an experience to say the least.

In February 2013 a friend called with a day old calf that Momma had rejected. So, being the animal lover I am, I talked Ronny into bringing her home.

Meet "Baby Cow" She never got a real name.
Yep, we brought her home in the back seat of the truck!

She's a Sem-Angus and so sweet.

The 3 of them lived with the goats and chickens in the backyard until January 2014, when they moved acorss the street to a big beautiful pasture.

I'll get some better pictures for a later post :)

My chicken flock has drastically lessened. I have two hens who have worked out some sort of peace treaty with the dogs, allowing them to free range outside of their fence.
I've named them Thelma and Louise.

Also had goat babies over the summer...

 Adorbs, I know!

This is just the highlights. Now I feel like I can blog away with whats happening now.
