Wedding Love

As I've said before...we totally skipped the whole wedding deal, which is probably why I love them so much.
I like to think that we put on one killer wedding for my sister. The only thing that one of us (me, mom. Caroline or another family member) did not do was the cakes and her dress. We pulled it off at an extremely low cost as well.
I wanted to 'pin' some of our creations/memories on Pinterest and decided instead of pinning everything that I would pin a few and post some, ok alot, in a blog with hopes that people would eventually find their way here via Pinterest.

So here they are (in random order because blogger is giving me fits while trying to move them around).

Long time no blog...

So sorry!
I am back to my blogging ways with all sorts of new things.
I have recently discovered pinterest.com, with which I have become addicted to.

Here are some of the things I/we have been up to...

Mini Cherry Pies in Muffin Tin

Mason Jar Soap & Lotion Dispensers

Cutting Glass with yarn, acetone, fire and water!

 Melting Crayons

 Crackle paint using Emler's Glue

 Homemade Laundry Soap

Soy Candles!

I will post some tutorials for some of my favorite projects soon.

Fallllll!

Fall is probably my absolute favorite time of year.
I love everything about it.
The colors, festivals, pumpkins, apples...just everything.
My weakness being Fall weddings.

When Caroline got engaged I managed to talk her into a Fall wedding. Which turned out amazing.
So of course I was excited when one of our close friends started planning her October wedding.
It was this past weekend and it was AWESOME!
She was simply stunning and it was a perfect day for an outdoor wedding.

Nothing makes a wedding like incorporating a family owned hot rod!
